But have any of you ever read the book he wrote while governor?
A post on BHW inspired me to drag it out last night. I'll post some quotes later if I have time today. We are living in a swamp at the moment that requires extra work on my part.

FH I read most of the book last night.......fuzzy on where important things are. Should have taken notes. I'll read more tonight, go back over some stuff.
Hope and Change.........that was what he ran on for his first stint as Governor.

"Dependency on government saps the soil and drains the spirit of our very future," I said time and time again, arguing for placing time limits on welfare benefits and requiring recipients to work, train or learn a skill in return for taxpayer's assistance. George W. Bush.

foundation horse - 2/6/2010 2:49 PM hheeheh Barb and Boys are out shoppin today...........for books hehehe I put my order in for GW's ACharge to Keep!
If they can't find it, I'll lend you mine......it's old. Mine was a library copy and has writing in it. It was written before his presidential campaign. I am not so stupid as to not realize it was part of the campaign, but it is a good read. I really wish except for the NCLB he could have had a little more power to do what he wanted without the disasters he had to deal with on his watch. He had a wonderful vision.
