Location: Iowa | Anyone want to take a guess on what Iran's big surprise or 'punch' will be on the big anniversary? Ahmadinejad keeps pointing at something that will show the West that they are not to be taken lightly and now the Ayatollah is joining in.
Underground testing of a nuke, maybe? Or another speech like two years ago when Ahmadinejad said pretty much the same thing, marking the 20th anniversary?

Location: North Carolina | My guess is that they will test-fire a new missile with long range capability (or longer range than anyone imagined).
I would be surprised if they detonated a nuclear device - not because I don't think they wouldn't do it if they had it, it's just that if they already had it I think they would have used it on Israel by now.
Then again, all this could just be hot air in hopes of quieting down or preventing any countrywide unrest.
I guess we'll find out soon enough. |

It is said that Ahmajinejad wants to hasten the appearance of the 12th Imam, who will lead all believers to heaven. They also believe that Jesus will accompany the 12th Imam. Nice. Yes, I did see Beck's show. I don't know what I'd do without Beck. |

I didn't get a chance to hear much of him last week or this week, but thanks for the link. When I get a little more time, I'll read through it.
On a side note though, did any of you catch his radio program on Monday (I think it was Monday), where the writers of the comic book series Captain America are now portraying Tea Party goers as a racists, government hate group? They're calling the group in the comic Watch Dogs. A term that Glen coined a while back to describe how people need to be keeping an eye on what the Fed is doing. Never really read that comic when I was younger, but I was always under the impression that Captain America was a defender of liberty and freedom. Well, so much for that thought.
Brainwashing 101. If kids today actually still read comic books.

I have a secret, but you have to promise not to tell because it will ruin my reputation with Susi as being a brain that always has her nose in some classic lit or dense philosophy/ theology book. I love comic books mainly because I sell more than you can possibly imagine. Can you say lots of easy money?!?! Selling the comic books pays for all those dense books Susi teases me about reading, considering how much I read and how quickly that is a lot of comic books. Kids buy and read comic books... snort. My average customer for comic books is a 30 something, white male and boy is he willing to pay through the nose for a book originally meant for children. That right there is the reason no one can convince me the American Man is an endangered species. |

The average age is a thirty-something male????? Alrighty then. But don't worry, your secret is safe w/ me. I promise, I will not tell Susi anything!!!!
Although, I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the thirty-something targeted consumer.

Hmmmm. And he is under the assumption that the world didn't know this? Good grief, everyone has known this for over a year.
I guess for the upside of the situation, it wasn't a live test of a nuke hurled at Israel or an EMP at us.

Shrugs, it is kind of like those cartoons the ones from Asian countries that are indredibely violent and sexual and the ones here in the US like South Park. Their target audience is not children but grown men. Between this infantile cr@p and the feminists trying to turn men into women, you all are an endangered species. I just have one piece of advice, don't tell anyone you're out there because I don't think Man is a protected endangered species but one with a hit out on his head! |

I think it was about 5 or 6 years ago, there was a poll released of the top fifty father figures in the U.S. Homer Simpson and Ray Ramano made it into the top five. A cartoon character that is dumber than a box of rocks and the biggest %^&*##* of a husband, father, and son anyone could think of!!!! Made the TOP 5 list!
You've got to be kidding me!

Location: Iowa | Ummmmm, maybe I wasn't wrong. Maybe they did test a nuke underground today.
There was a 4.6 registered earthquake in the western part of Iran today. At a depth of 10.0 kilometers.
North Korea had a registered earthquake of 4.7 at a depth of 10.0 kilometers when they tested a nuke underground.
Now this would be a little more in line w/ a 'punch' and the Christmas tree lights comments that have came up lately.
